Rise in standings

Quinn and his teams recent performance at Red Devil Rally Queensland have pushed them up to being the 13th fastest crew in the country. While the seedings work on outright stage times, the guys are amazed to have even risen in the standings after losing up to 5 ½ minutes over 4 stages due to the brake and gearbox drama’s.

Meanwhile the team have stripped the car. After finding the damage in the gearbox, their perception of bad luck for the weekend has been challenged by the condition of the gearbox which “should not have made through”, according to team manager/dad Martin.

The guys, Matty and Shannon, will be working flat out over the next month to get the car back on the road for testing before the next round of the ARC in South Australia. South Australia brings a new spice to the team; having never competed there Nathan is searching for improvement in fast open roads, something that South Aus is renowned for. There will be some added experience to the team before South Australia and during in order to get the car setup right to suit Nathan in preparation for Repco Rally Australia.
