The Coffs Coast Rally Team car can only compete in the Production World Rally Car Championship (PWRC) a second tier competition.  Q: Can the team win the PWRCA: Yes, however like all competition, winning is incredibly tough. He moved to a Mitsubishi Evolution 5 lancer in 2008 and apart from winning state championship events placed as high as second in the Australian Rally championship. In 2009 he purchased a current Evolution 9 Lancer and was able to finish 2nd outright in the ARC events as well as set fastest stage times.
